Dr. Paul F. Worthington holds a PhD degree in engineering geophysics and a higher doctorate (DEng) in geoengineering studies, both from the University of Birmingham, UK.

He has published over 90 peer-reviewed technical papers concerned with the petrophysical evaluation of problematic reservoirs, integrated reservoir studies, and petroleum reserves, unitization and equity redetermination.

His main interests are the unitization and equity redetermination of fields that straddle domestic licence boundaries or international borders, reservoir evaluation and management, and petroleum reserves estimation.

His involvement in these subject areas over the past 30+ years has also included a broader presence across the petroleum industry, support for universities, and advice to governments.

Where he has been an expert witness and technical/strategic adviser to companies engaged in dispute resolution, he has never lost a case.
